Miso is popular in Japanese cuisine. Sanchi Shiro Miso is a lighter coloured and much sweeter tasting miso. It contains a high proportion of rice and only half the salt (6% instead of 12%) of other miso. It is aged for only a few weeks to create its special light quality. Shiro Miso is ideal for seasoning dips, marinades, dressings, soups, sauces and lighter dishes.
