Designed for juicing mainly leafy greens including wheatgrass and herbs and performs well at this function but they can have differing results with other types of produce. If you want to juice e.g. beetroot or carrots, it works well if the vegetables are cut in long narrow strips. We would never recommend them to anyone wishing to juice anything other than mainly greens, although if you can accept their limitation with other types of produce, then they can be an acceptable travel companion.
It comes with two nozzles for juicing, they create different amounts of pressure inside the chamber which can give better results depending on the produce being juiced. The power-suction base attaches firmly to a smooth surface by simply tuning the locking knob and a metal G-clamp is provided to lock to a table or worktop when a smooth surface is not available.
Cleaning is a breeze with all manual juicers, simply run under a tap to clean the majority of parts and a brush is provided to clean the juicing screen.
